How the planner picks a time

Every city sits on one shared timeline, anchored to the first city you add. Each hour of that city's day becomes a row, and the planner reads the local time in every other city for that exact instant — so clock changes, half-hour zones and the date line are all handled minute by minute rather than by adding whole hours.

A slot where everyone is inside working hours is a perfect match. When no such slot exists, the planner ranks compromises by how far each person is pushed outside their working hours, and an hour that falls at night counts double. You can change the working hours, pick a date, export the chosen time as a calendar file, and share the exact setup as a link.
