Brand History

Established by Jean-Marc Vacheron in Geneva, Switzerland, Vacheron Constantin has maintained uninterrupted production for over 265 years. The brand's partnership with François Constantin in 1819 led to the famous motto "Do better if possible, and that is always possible." Throughout its history, Vacheron Constantin has created some of the most complicated watches ever made, including the 57260 (the most complicated mechanical watch ever created) and the Tour de l'Île (the most complicated wristwatch at its time of creation). The brand has been owned by the Richemont Group since 1996 but maintains its independence in terms of design and production.
